    A new pair of stainless steel oil filter lines for a 55 Chevrolet 265 V-8 with the accessory oil filter. In 1955, the first year for the small block V-8, an oil filter was not part of the block but rather offered as an accessory and it mounted on top of the intake manifold. These are the steel lines that connect the oil filter to the engine. Only the lines are stainless, the fitting are not stainless steel.
