    For sale is an original 1964 Mercury Comet Cyclone HiPo 289 Engine Tag # 578.
    Dated January of 1964, correct for a 1964 K code Mercury Comet Cyclone with the HiPo 289. This tag is specifically for an automatic HiPo car, according to Bob Mannels 289 and Ford V8 book.
    Tag is rather straight with light rust pitting, but all numbers are completely visible.
