Description
OEMPressure Sender
For Big Block & Smallblock Mopars
...and even Slant Sixes! 100% OEM design
OEM correct oil pressure switch for all muscle-era ('1960- '89) RWD Mopars, smallblock (273-318-340-360), big block (361-383-400-413-426W-440-4-440-6), 170, 198, 225 CID slant sixes, and 426 Hemi in Dodge and Plymouth vehicles, 1960s-'80s. This screws into the rear of the block turning the oil pressure warning lamp ("idiot light") on and off in response to oil pressure (or lack thereof!)
Not
for cars with gauges.
Besides the obvious danger that comes from not being sure that you have ample oil pressure, these units, when shot, sometimes cause a mysterious (only at times of high pressure) oil leak at the rear of the engine, which is often misdiagnosed as a rear main seal leak.
This unit is made by the original Chrysler / Mopar vendor, OEM plated finish. SAE spec. leakproof "driseal" threads -
no leaks!
S&H: Cheap -- use calculator tab above.
