GPW FORD g503 Jeep Ww2engine.i took apart and inspected, #3 piston has a crack.H2O pump,thermostat housing,oil pump,intake manifold,gpw marked, oil Cannister support scripted F. 2 rods marked WO,other 2 gpw marked. exhaust valves scripted F, intakes plain.tappet adjusters all scripted F. Head is not Ford. The coil is Auto-Lite date code 1948,didn't  even bother to test,who cares. Every part bagged and marked as to location. Last time this engine ran, 1962. The fellow i bought this from in 1973, is still alive at 97, the old fart gets around like a 16 old-- he got the jeep on a surplus sale from Chanute Air Force Base in 1950. Of all the military jeeps I've owned, i never had a gpw,so this engine sat in my building. As a side note, the old man told me the engine was overhauled  by the military, that explains the rod differences, as for the head? I cleaned this up and painted it so you wouldn't  have to mess with something dirty.OPP'ss i dropped the exhaust manifold after i seperated it from the intake and it broke hitting the concrete floor, so not included.I will ship on your dime.
