Jeep Willys M38 Early Horn Button and Contact Set G-740

This buy it now listing is for an NOS original horn button and contact plate.  This is the early rarely seen horn button and contact plate used on first production M38 Jeeps.  The early M38 used an MB/civilian type steering wheel nut and a special button and contact plate for the horn rod.  The later production used a horn rod with a screw on adjustable nut, a different steering wheel nut and a rubber horn cap.  You will receive one horn button and one contact plate.  You can find pictures of this early horn button set up in the 1950 Ord 9 G-740 and early maintenance manual.
