Rebuilt Chevy 216 Engine.
Date code on engine block is, August 13 1953
Reconditioned rods with new babbitt bearings
Crankshaft turned .010”/.010” rods/mains, on a berco 260 machine
Bored .040 over
New pistons
New piston rings
Torque plate honed, on a sunnen ck10 honing machine
3 angle valve job
Cylinder head,block and crankshaft have been magnafluxed and checked for cracks. There are no cracks
Resurfaced block and cylinder head
New main bearings
New camshaft and lifters
New timing gear set
Valves will be adjusted and engine will be set on TDC cylinder 1, so you can drop in your distributor without any hassle.
Please keep in mind that the rebuild parts for a chevy 216 are expensive and hard to come by. This is the best price I can offer.
My parts suppliers are currently running behind, and this is the last 216 I have available until 2022. If I find parts I will list another 216. If not, the next available 216 crate engine will be available in early 2022...
